In what started out as a simple exercise to explore the recurring motifs in my work, this piece quickly grew into something far more significant. As I became immersed in the process, it marked the moment when I started to delve into themes of religion and the guilt that comes with having different opinions on certain topics. It was also a turning point in my creative journey—allowing me to work more freely and instinctively, no longer prioritizing rigid planning in my art making practice. This piece embodies the beginning stages of exploring deeper questions of my faith and the evolving way I approach my art.
